Thank you, Saskatoon!
400 of you signed up to help us understand how proposed transit changes in our city might shift how residents move through the city and impact our health and wellbeing. And this is just the beginning!
Whether or not you’ve registered to participate, you can follow along with our progress here and on our social media accounts, so be sure to check back for updates!
About the study
INTERACT has launched a five-year study to uncover how the implementation of proposed changes to Saskatoon’s Transit Network might impact physical activity, social participation, and wellbeing—and whether these impacts would be felt equally across different socioeconomic groups. This study is led by INTERACT researchers at the University of Saskatchewan, in collaboration with partners and scientists across Canada.
We’ve finished recruiting a cohort of 400 adults in Saskatoon to help us learn how the proposed enhanced bus system would influence residents activity, well-being, and social interactions.
