Four measures are being mapped, which all identify candidate Census Tracts (CT) for gentrification in 2006 and, among these CTs, the gentrified ones in 2016. Two of the gentrification measures adapted for GENUINE were developed in Canada (Steinmetz-Wood, Grube-Cavers) and the other two in the U.S. (Freeman, Ding). All maps below have been built using CMA level measures, i.e. each CT is compared to the CMA average.
